" Try it " his reply made me confused .

" Try it and see how I will kill that person , Sugar." He whispered in my ears, tucking the free strands of hair behind the ears.

Shivers run down my spine. How can he?

" Um" I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out of my throat as if they were stuck there . My mind was blank due to the closeness.

His breath was funning on my face. Our faces are just inches away . I didn't dare to move knowing well , slightest movements can  lead to brushing our lips which I don't want , Do I ?  but still can't do anything.

Even after  years he still has control over my body . My heart is pounding against my chest as if it will come out any moment.

His face moved closer and I closed my eyes accepting what's coming next but to my surprise he just kissed my cheeks and backed off. His hand still on my cheeks caresses my cheeks with his palm.

" Don't worry I'll not do anything without your consent baby ." He stated  but my mind was still stuck in the moment.

He retrieved his hand and started the engine and drove off. I didn't utter anything. The ride to the restaurant was in silence which was not awkward to my surprise.

Yug was waiting outside as we entered inside. The whole lunch was silent, just a little bit of talk between Yug and him . I didn't talk as I don't wanted to do so . I keep quiet just some nods here and there on their talk.

We finished the talk and were ready to go .Yug turned toward him and extended his hand.

" It's a pleasure to have lunch with you Mr Sharma." He said and Vedansh accepted by shaking hands.

Yug nagged me to shake hands with him so I also extended my hand which he immediately held shaking and kissing the back of my hand .

" The pleasure is all mine." He said, kissing my palm.

It would be a lie if I say that it didn't flutter my heart.

'What is wrong with you Misha. Have you lost your mind?' I scolded myself for behaving this way.

"Let's go " the voice made me come out of my thoughts and we made our way out.

After reaching home he asked.

" Now you have to tell me . Misha what's wrong . And I'm definitely not buying your bullshit anymore." He asked and I know there's no going back but I also want Sarah and Meher to be here.

" Please Yug just a little bit let Sarah come." I said I would try to buy sometime.

" Nope you're telling me no – " the sound of the doorbell cut his statement and I was thankful for the person .

He looked at me and back at the door .
" I will see who it is." I said walking towards the door to open it.

" It might be Sarah, " he said, following me.

I opened the door and there she was standing with an unreadable expression which made me confused.

" Sa–" before I could say anything she gripped my wrist and dragged me inside.

" Sarah what's wrong with you.why are you dragging me." I tried to pull my hand but her grip only tightened around it .

" Ahh." A hiss left my mouth but it didn't affect her.

" Have you lost your mind or what?" Yug said and pulled me away from her grip.

" Can't you see you are hurting her . " He yelled at her.
I rubbed my wrist which was now red and bruised due her grip.

She didn't answer but pushed him aside and again strolled toward me  and gripped my shoulder.

" How can you do this, Misha? " she said angrily, confusing me.

" What ? " I was confused.

Has she lost her mind? What is she even trying to say?

"How can you be with Vedansh Misha? You should not be with him . Don't you know what he did 5 years ago ."

Yug looked at us with wide eyes.

" Sarah, listen , we will talk calmly. Why are you getting angry?" I tried to make the situation calm.

" How can I be ?"

" Would any of you tell me? What's going on ?. And Misha what Sarah is saying." He said,

This was not how I wanted them to find out.

" Listen, first you sit and have some water .ok. we will talk it out also yug call Meher ." I said to Sarah and made her sit and he passed her a glass of water.

Yug forwarded his phone after dialing her number.

" Hello baby missed me ?" She said from the other side thinking that it's Yug.

" Hello Meher." I said , clearing my throat.

" Amm Mish. I.umm." she fumbled.

" Yeah Meher I wanted to tell you all something." I continued and put the phone on speaker mode.

" What ?" She asked further.

" It's about Vedansh." She gasped hearing his name.

" Don't tell me that you met him." She questioned, voice filled with anger. I know she must be controlling herself to not bustout  .

" Aah.  The thing is.. " I don't know how to say they might bust on me for not letting them know earlier.

Sarah was already angry at me. I still don't know where she found out . The press conference interview is yet to be announced.

Yug also gave me side look , which clearly says that I have messed up by not telling them.

" Just say it already na  ." Meher asked desperately.

" HeistheCEOofthecompanywithwhomwe signedthedealrecently." I said in one go.

" What.?" The three of them said at the same  time being confused.

" He is the CEO of the company with whom we signed the deal recently." I said and closed my eyes waiting for their reaction.

" What the fuck." After a minute of silence they said at the same time.

That was expected.

" And you are telling us this. Now." Yug said in disbelief.

" I just wanted to tell you all together." I muttered in a low voice.

" Tell us from the start." Finally Sarah said and Yug and Meher hummed in acceptance.

" So when…." I continued with telling them all the things from seeing him to our talk in his cabin. Him apologizing to me , the bouquet with note and dinner everything.

When I finished I waited for them to say something.

" Sarah, are you there.? " Meher  asked .

" Yes. I'm." She answered.

" Do one thing for me ."

" What it is ."

" Twist her ears for not letting us know earlier." Her response made my eyes widen.

" What ? Meher no. I'm sorry" I said immediately which came to mind.

" Ahh." Before I could run . She already twisted my ears, making me scream.

" Yes , you should be . Why did you do this?" Sarah said, twisting it more.

" Ahh I'm sorry na  meher please. Tell her to leave my ears now."  I said trying to pull my ear from her grip

" Ok Sarah, leave her ears." I rubbed my ears as she left it and went to her room. Yug was just sitting on the couch enjoying my pain.

" Meher listen. I wanted to say something."I pulled the phone to my ears and said

" Go on, I'm listening." She responded as I entered my room not before informing yug.

" Meher I think he is genuinely sorry. And want my forgiveness." I said as I entered.

" What made you think so?" She questioned being a curious cat.

" He didn't misbehave with me. His gestures, his talk . You also know that I never hated him . I was just upset with his way." Only she knows about this. I didn't even tell this to Sarah for I don't know what reason. But I simply can't bring myself to talk to her about this.

" I know why I didn't say anything earlier." She really is my soul sister.

" So what do you think of doing ? Are you gonna forgive him." . She asked

" I'm but not that early. He still has to pay for his actions. " I'm determined to see his love which he claims to have .

" Hmm." She just hummed in response.

" You know what he  did ….." I started ranting about how he extended the time and all.

We talked for an hour, me telling her about everything in detail and her telling me about the Paris fashion week.Paris fashion show.Which will happen in this and Yug will join her their in other preparation,

At Dinner time

“ Yug I think that you should go back and help Meher in Fashion week.” His face lit up hearing Meher’s name.

This man is really whipped for her.

I'm glad that Meher got a partner like Yug.

“ But What about you?” He asked as a frown appeared on his face.

“ Sarah is here with me and Someone will have to be there also , right?” I said , stating my point.

“ Yes , She is stating the fact and we are here to manage things.” she responded , agreeing with me.

“ but– “ he tried to say something but I cut him off.

“ no but you are going and that’s final, “ I said, leaving no room for him to argue . Sarah also supported me in this.

After dinner everyone retired to their room to sleep. Misha also laid on her bed . a smile crept on her face thinking about today’s incident. As she was ready to close her eyes and drift to sleep, a sound of notification on her phone caught her attention.

She extended her hand and pulled the phone from the nightstand to see the message. The message caught her off guard as it read.

“ Take care sugar Good night “, I rolled my eyes looking at his message . After sometime another notification popped up and this time it was from some unknown number
